As many of you may already know, I’m pretty active in technology and open source community events. Last week was one of my annual favorites! The VTUG (Virtualization Technology Users Group) organization held its annual Summer Slam event.
Again hosted at the beautiful Westbrook Middle School Performing Arts Center (Westbrook, ME), this years Summer Slam did not disappoint the over 900 attendees and technology sponsors. The event is comprised of a technology pavilion, keynote sessions in the morning, numerous afternoon breakout sessions with presentations by engineers for engineers and in the evening is the renown lobster bake at Gritty’s in Freeport, ME
This year I was able to give three sessions on leveraging Ansible automation to manage KVM-hypervisor-based workloads. We had great attendance and participation in all of the sessions. So as promised… here’s my slides and a link to my github repo (playbooks used in the demo)…
